The History Center is located in historic downtown Richmond at 10th and E. Clay streets.
From Downtown
Take Franklin Street east to Capitol Square. Turn left onto Ninth Street, then take the second right onto Marshall Street. Turn left onto 11th Street, then left again onto Clay Street. The History Center is on the left. Turn left onto 10th Street to park in the History Center lot on the left.
From I-64 Westbound
Take exit 190, the 5th Street exit. Turn left onto Marshall Street and proceed to 11th Street. Turn left onto 11th Street, then left again onto Clay Street. The History Center is on the left. Proceed past the front of the History Center, turn left onto 10th Street, and take the first left into the History Center parking lot.
From I-95 Northbound or Southbound
Take exit 74C, Broad Street. Go west on Broad to 11th Street and turn right. Proceed north on 11th and take the second left onto Clay Street. The History Center is on your left. Proceed past the front of the History Center, turn left onto 10th Street, and take the first left into the History Center parking lot.
Parking is available in the History Center's lot, accessible from 10th Street between E. Marshall and E. Clay. (please note that 10th Street is one way, southbound, and the entrance to the parking lot is on the left side of the street). Please check in with the parking attendant and ask reception to validate your parking before leaving the History Center.
